Osteria Povera

Had lunch with girlfriends at Osteria Povera. I had the Tigliatelle Ragu Pasta. It was very tasty. The pasta was soft and cooked to perfection, the Ragu sauce was delicious, the beef was tender and seasoned with greatness. Will definitely be back to try the paninis!

The vibe of the restaurant was very relaxing and had a very boutique feel. Food was very delicious, we had the steak tartare to start, spaghetti e polpetti and ragu for mains, and an affogato to finish off. The service was also great and well timed, with the gentleman serving us always anticipating our needs. We were even brought a nice little snack plate with some charcuterie to start us off! We will be going back!

This has got to be one of my fave restaurants in port moody. Food is fresh, delicious and high quality! It’s such a beautiful spot with a nice charm. Service is always amazing. Shoutout to our server Scott tonight - he provided such amazing service. Also, if you’re debating it—get the tiramisu!! it’s phenom!

Our favourite Italian restaurant in Port Moody! The interior is really European and stylish and the handmade pastas have really generous portion size! The tiramisu after dinner was great as well and we can't wait to come back soon!

We were thinking of a cozy Italian restaurant to go for date night and ended up with this one. The warm ambiance, decor, lighting and all the details give a pleasing first look and impression. We ordered lasagna (spinach) and Pesto Penne with Prawns and both of them were favorably delicious. Everything was served with care and smile with just right amount of introduction to the plates and check ins.

This restaurant is small yet a gem in port moody! The food was spectacular, very rich in flavour and very filling. I normally do not like red sauce with my pasta but this is the only place where I loved it. Definitely recommend trying it.

Found our way in on a random Tuesday night and honestly, kinda really wowed us. We came in kind of blind just grabbing a 7pm reso off of google maps late in the afternoon. We were looking for some good pasta within 15-20 mins of Guildford where my Toronto work pals were lodged and boy did this place deliver. The atmosphere is super lovely. Felt like an old school Italian smoking lounge or something. Very cozy, like someone’s nonna had built a dining room. We landed at the reso time 7pm and were sat right away by the big window. Tons of solid sunset light. While we waited for a final friend to land, we started with a couple cocktails and appies. The option to sbagliato the negroni was a nice touch. The cheese and meat platter was varied, well stocked and not short of shaved Parmesan. Pasta wise - we went for the bomba with salmon (which I whole heartedly recommend) and the penne pesto, which for such a simple sounding pasta received a lot of love at the table. The house wines were great and the unique glassware for the Italian beers was a cool vibe builder. We finished with dual affogatos and the lemon sorbet which was exactly the tart sweet lemon hit we were craving at the end. Punchy and fresh, big fans. Overall - we were a bit stunned and unprepared for such a solid sunset dinner experience. Seems everything just aligned from the table selection to the weather, to the vibe set by the staff, and the food - which was kinda unreal. I’d say tell your friends about this place! Delicious and authentic Italian dishes! My friends and I celebrated my birthday and the server was so kind and helpful. The tiramisu is def the best I’ve had in Vancouver! Their winter menu for 2 is a great value option, 3 of us shared it with an extra appy and the portions were plenty.
